iGuitar Orchestra at Stevens conducted by Carlos Alomar
www.oneworldartists.com/stevens/mmmorchestra/index.html
Check out the "World Premiere" of the "Mini-Midi-Magic Orchestra under the direction of Carlos Alomar & Bethany Reeves. Carlos wrote the legendary David Bowie tune "Fame". It is part of the Department of Art, Music & Technology Showcase The performance will consist of 3 works, the last will be an excerpt of Mozart's "Requiem' and the 8 digital guitars which can emulate orchestral instruments that accompany the Stevens Choir.!
This video documentary contains portions of two rehearsals, one for the jazz standard "Killer Joe" (made famous by Quincy Jones) and the guitars are emulating a big Brass Band. The other was in DeBaun at the first rehearsal with the choir. All are perplexed and amazed...you will see this when you watch the video.
The instruments have been provided by Carlos from a corporate
endorsement from the Roland Music Technology company and the iGuitar, Inc.
