Ben Nieves started playing in blues and rock bars at the age of 16 in his home town Cleveland, Oh. As a musician in Cleveland it is important to become a versatile musician to keep working. The Brian Moore/ iGuitars really allow you to have a super versatile guitar without having to take multiple instruments out on the road. Currently Ben is on the road with pioneering psychedelic rock group Big Brother and the Holding Company. He also is the lead guitar player for the touring production of 'Love, Janis' which is a rock play based on the letters and interviews of the late great Janis Joplin. You will also find Ben playing with local and national gospel, neo-soul, r&b, blues, rock, smooth jazz, and fusion groups around the country.
