Scott began playing guitar at the age of eleven and started working in the competitive Atlanta music scene at fourteen. His reputation as a solid sideman landed him spots in many of the area's premier musical acts. He later moved to Texas and entered the highly distinguished jazz studies program at the University of North Texas. Scott has had the pleasure of working with such diverse artists/bands as Dr. Teeth, DaHeBeGeBees, Michael Duffy(Ozomatli, Christina Milian), Grooveline Horns(Bob Schneider, Blues Traveler), Ady Hernandez, Greg Hester, Darius Holbert(Sofie B. Hawkins, Wu-Tang Clan), Rachel Loy, Mingo Fishtrap, Phil Redmond, Sauce, Asdru Sierra(Ozomatli), James Speer, Jimi Tunnell(Steps Ahead, Laurie Anderson), and many others. Scott is now based out of Austin and is available for recording and touring projects.
